North County Youth Career Network
For youth ages 16-21(non-high school graduates) wanting to develop a plan leading up to their high school diploma/GED attainment, college or trade school, and successful employment while being supported by a Program Specialist.

Careers Club
For youth in Escondido ages 16-21 who want to explore career and academic opportunities.  Program Specialists assist youth with educational support, intensive case management, and offer workshops and paid internship experience.

San Marcos Neighborhood Works
A work readiness program offered to high school aged youth in the San Marcos area.  Receiving intensive case management, students develop a transition plan for life after high shcool, prepare a professional portfolio, apply for internship opportunities and extracurricular activities.

STRIVE
A regional work readiness program for youth in the City of Vista. Youth between the ages of 16-21 receive case management and supportive services while developing a career goal plan and creating a professional portfolio.

Oceanside
Intensive case management services offered to young adults ages 16-21 in the Oceanside area.

Academic Support
NCYCN provides tutoring services to help youth prepare coursework and various exams.  Academic Support Specialists address needs especially in preparation for the GED, CAHSEE, or SAT.  College and technical school advisement is also provided.

Youth Development
Activities to engage youth in cultural, civic, athletic, and recreational participation in the community.  Youth Development is offered with several programs.
 
Escondido Youth Court
A juvenile diversion program in partnership with the Escondido Police Department.  One-time youth offenders are represented and tried by a panel of their peers.  Youth run the entire hearing process, and offenders are sentenced accordingly.

Escondido Youth Voice
A youth advocacy group that works on special projects and issues that impact the young community.

Underage Drinking Subcommittee
A committee of the Community Alliance for Escondido (CAFE), where both youth and adults of the community gather to address current issues regarding underage drinking in Escondido.
 
Escondido Bike Program
Youth have the opportunity to learn about mechanics by working directly on used bicycles.  By the end of the 12-week program, youth have gained skills for general mechanics, having stripped and renewed their own bicycle.

Education Outreach
Professional, business, and community leaders partner with COMPACT to provide a "real world" perspective on careers and relevant topics to our youth.

Career Day Events
Community professionals visit middle and high schools and speak directly to 8th grade students about their career and academic path.

Job Shadow Day
An annual event for high school students in Escondido to shadow local community professionals for one morning.

Principal For a Day
An opportunity for local businesses to interact with middle and high schools in Escondido, by serving as a guest principal for one morning.

Youth Opportunity Day
A day for high school students who have prepared a professional portfolio to interview with representatives from various businesses in the community.

Project Hero
A mentoring program offered to middle and high school students.  With the simple purpose of bringing inspiring adult role models to the lives of young people, program mentoring occurs after school hours for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
