Summer Youth Force

Escondido Education COMPACT is currently looking for youth from North Inland San Diego County to place in summer employment opportunities. COMPACT’s Summer YouthForce Program is recruiting youth (ages 14-24) that live in Escondido, San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside and Fallbrook. We have a many different and exciting summer employment placement options. Also, our Summer YouthForce Program is recruiting youth (16 – 24) across the North County Region that is interested in exploring careers in Healthcare. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT SPACE IN THIS PROGRAM IS EXTREMELY LIMITED - THIS OPPORTUNITY WILL FILL UP QUICKLY! ADDITIONALLY, THIS IS A FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAM WITH SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES.

Because of the limited spaces available, we cannot guarantee participation and/or placement in the Summer YouthForce program.  After submitting the Prescreening Eligibility Survey, you will be placed on a wait list (until wait list is full) and will be contacted - once eligibility is determined - to attend a mandatory orientation.

Volunteer Opportunities

High school students who are looking for volunteer events and opportunities in Escondido are invited to visit this website regularly for listings. Listings are updated weekly with a variety of community service projects. Currently being offered are volunteer opportunities at school carnivals, city park painting, gardening, and a canned food sort.
