2/28/2024 - The North County Tattoo Removal Program is a partnership with the Escondido Gang Reduction Intervention and Prevention (EGRIP) Taskforce, Escondido Police, Escondido Education COMPACT and Neighborhood Healthcare. The program is funded through a Neighborhood Revitalization Grant from Supervisor Bill Horn’s Office and a CalGRIP Grant.
2/23/2024 - The North County Tattoo Removal Program was features on CBS8 San Diego for providing free tattoo removal for individuals who are interested in improving their employability. While the participants are going through the process of having their tattoos removed, they will also receive case management services, academic support in achieving high school diploma or GED, and training to help achieve career goals and gain employment.
2/8/2024 - COMPACT was highlighted by San Diego FC in a community video for Escondido! COMPACT staff was present for the Love Esco volunteer event to promote our many services available to Escondido Youth and Families.
10/26/2023 - This video highlighted the placement that three Escondido students were able to shadow as part of our annual Job Shadow Day. Every year COMPACT partners with EUHSD schools to offer this awesome opportunity to students interested in career exploration.
